83rd Academy Award Winners 2011

Curtains are down to the 83rd Academy Awards, and the big winner this year is 'The King's Speech' (4 oscars) which won the Oscar for Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor and the Best original Screenplay. On the second "Inception" with all  the 4 technical side awards and on thrid "The Social Network" with 3 awards. James Franco and Anne Hathaway served as the hosts, and the evening was accompanied by all the expected glitz and glamour of the red carpet. The 2011 Oscars have been handed out to the winners,  where the most famous and important people in Hollywood dressed up, walked the red carpet, and got fabulously drunk on a studio's dime. HIGHEST PAID ACTORS IN HOLLYWOOD

It is a strange fact that only a century ago, acting was thought of as one of the lowest of professions. The term highest paid actors would have been seen as a contradiction in terms. Now, of course, actors are placed among the highest ranks in society. The highest paid actors can command as much as 20 million US dollars (USD) for one movie. Let us see top 10 actors in Hollywood  of highest paid per film.

WILL SMITH
Will Smith has been crowned the highest earning actor in Hollywood, with a fortune of $80 million for the "Hancock"(2008) . He is an American actor and film producer. In April 2007, Newsweek called him the most powerful actor on the planet. Smith has been nominated for four Golden Globe Awards, two Academy Awards, and has won multiple Grammy Awards.







JOHNNY DEPP
Johnny Depp is well known as Jack Sparrow in the "Pirates Of The Caribbean" before this he was   a  quirky leading man was best known for starring in offbeat movies like Tim Burton's Ed Wood and the film version of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. But the Pirates had make ability most guarantee. Ed Fenech, British Army in 2009.

UNKNOWN 2011


































"Unknown" is based on the 2003 French novel published in English as "Out of My Head" by Didier van Cauwelaert. The film is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, starring Liam Neeson, Diane Kruger, January Jones, Aidan Quinn and Frank Langella, released on "Feb 18th,2011".


PLOT:
Martin Harris (Liam Neeson) and his wife, Liz (January Jones), arrive in Berlin for a biotechnology conference where Martin have to give a paper presentation. When they arrive  to site of conference at hotel Martin Harris realize that he forgot his briefcase at the airports which contains their passports. So Martin harris takes a cab to retrieve his briefcase while going to airport a truck crashes into  the road and cab veeers into the river. The cab driver Gina (Diane Kruger) rescues him from but she disappears in the crowd someway. Martin is taken to hospital and he is in coma for 4 days.

After 4 days Martin saw a T.V reporter news about biotechnology conference, then he remember his memory that he should be there for the conference. Martin check out of hospital and go to the hotel there he see his wife Liz at the reception and goes to embrace her. But she claims not to know him and introduces everyone to her husband, who claims to be Martin Harris (Aidan Quinn). Martin wanders the streets of Berlin. He tracks down Gina but refuses to help him because she is an illegal immigrant working in several jobs. Martin goes to meet Professor Bressler (Sebastian Koch), a German bioscientist with whom he had had phone calls about their plans to revolutionize food production. But when he arrives, another Martin (Aidan Quinn) is already there but Martin (Liam Neeson) try to say that he is the real one but police escorted him out. At these consequences some people will be trying to kill Martin(Liam Neeson).

The whole film will very interesting and runs on these following issues:
Who are those people trying to Martin?
Why there are trying to kill him?
Who is another Martin (Aidan Quinn)?
How Martin(Liam Neeson) will prove himself that he is the real one?





CAST PERFORMANCE:
In key role actor Liam Neeson had been made to do a challenging kind of a character portrayal with this one and he sure had gone on to make the wide screen come alive and lively manner in many ways. In addition to him rest of the cast also had gone their respective characters in a wonderful and effective way to delight of viewers and among them had been star actresses Diane Kruger and January Jones. With those performance included a marvelous cinematic experience this had been.

REVIEW:  
"Unknown" is the film for the viewers who are expecting a nice ride with a couple of twists. But if you expect more then there will be no such luck. The film contains some shades of "Taken" and " The Bourne Identity". There are some characters dragging and forgettable except Liam Neeson. Overall the film is a good thriller which has a quite action and couple of  twists in the climax where no one expect.

This year Hollywood is going to treat the audience with more sequels than ever before. By comparison, 2010 saw "19" sequels hit the screens. But according to the year 2003 there is a record in hollywood that "24" sequels were released. And this year 2011 is going to beat that mark with "26" sequels. In these sequels there are some

FEBRUARY:
"Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son" is a crime comedy film directed by John Whitesell and starring Martin Lawrence and Brandon T. Jackson. This  is the 3rd film from "Big Mommas".  Martin Lawrence reprising his role as FBI agent Malcolm Turner. Jascha Washington reprise his role as Trent Pierce from the first two films, now Brandon T. Jackson replaced him for his role. The film is going to on "Feb 18th, 2011".And it is the first film to be presented in 2.35:1 widescreen.




MARCH:


"Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2: Rodrick Rules"  is a realistic fiction novel based on the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series written by Jeff Kinney. The film starring  Zachary Gordon,Steve Zahn and Rachael Harris there are also confirmed to return to their own characters accordingly to first film.The film will be directed by David Bowers. And its going to release on "Mar 25th, 2011".


APRIL:

"Scream 4" is the fourth installment in the Scream series. It was directed by Wes Craven starring David Arquette, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, Emma Roberts and Hayden Panettiere. Campbell, Arquette and Cox are the only returning cast members from the previous films. It is scheduled to be released on "April 15, 2011".

"Madea’s Big Happy Family" is a comedy-drama film based on the "Tyler Perry play of the same name" and directed by Tyler Perry. Starring Loretta Devine, Shad "BowWow" Moss, David Mann,Cassi Davis, Tamela Brown Mann in major roles. The film is to be release on "April 22nd, 2011".
"Fast Five" is the fifth film in The Fast and the Furious film series. Directed by Justin Lin, starring Vin Diesel as  Dom main male protagonist and Paul Walker as Brian O'Conner dueteragonist. Dwayne Johnson plays role as villain who is an elite FBI agent assigned to track down Dom, Brian and their team. The film is also the first in the series to be released in IMAX and is set to be released on "April 29, 2011"




MAY:

"Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" is the fourth film in the Pirates of the Caribbean series, distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and stars Johnny Depp and  Penelope Cruz. This film is inspired by the novel "On Stranger Tides" and most of the                   was shoot in Hawaii. It is also first in the series to be directed by Rob Marshall and not Gore Verbinski. The film is set to be released on "May 20, 2011" in Disney Digital 3-D and IMAX 3D.

JUNE:



"X-Men: First Class"  is the fifth installment of the X-Men film series directed by Matthew Vaughn based on the characters appearing in Marvel Comics. The film stars James McAvoy as "Professor X" and Michael Fassbender as "Magneto". It also stars Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw, the antagonist of the movie. The film is about the relationship between Professor X and Magneto and the origin of their groups. The film is set to be on "June 3rd, 2011" .




"Cars 2is the sequel to the 2006 film, Cars. The film is directed by John Lasseter and the voices of Owen Wilson, Larry the Cable Guy, Michael Caine and Emily Mortimer. It is produced by Pixar Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. The Film will be presented in Disney Digital 3-D, IMAX 3D, RealD 3D and 2-D for release in theaters on "June 24, 2011".






JULY:


"Transformers: Dark of the Moon" is the third and final film in the Transformers film series, directed by Michael Bay. It is the sequel to Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson and John Turturro are set to reprise their starring roles but  Megan Fox would not be reprising her role she is replaced by an English model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. The film is scheduled for release on "July 01st, 2011", in Real D 3D, regular 2D theaters and IMAX.





"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two" is the sequel to the first part oh HP7 in 2010. It is the final movie From the series directed by David Yates. The conclusion of the long-running franchise sees Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) and his wizardly pals engage in a final showdown with Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) and his gang of Death Dealers.  The film will be released in 3D, along with 2D formats, in IMAX on "15 July 2011".


"Winnie the Pooh" is an traditionally animated feature film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios based upon the characters of the children's books Winnie-the-Pooh.The film is directed by Stephen Anderson Featuring five previously unadapted stories from the classic children’s character, Winnie the Pooh will be narrated by John Cleese and featuring the voices of Jim Cummings, Tom Kenny, and Craig Ferguson. It is to be release on "July 15th, 2011".


AUGUST:

"Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World"  is the  is the fourth film in the series, following on from Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over, directed by Robert Rodriguez and also starring Jessica Alba, Joel McHale, Danny Trejo, Antonio Banderas, Alexa Vega, and Daryl Sabara. The film is produced by Troublemaker Studios and distributed by Dimension Films, Miramax Films, and Walt Disney Pictures to be released in 3D on "August 19, 2011".



"Final Destination 5" is the fifth installment to the Final Destination film franchise. It is a supernatural-horror film written by Eric Heisserer and directed by Steven Quale. Starring  Nicholas D'Agosto and Emma Bell. Tony Todd will also return from the first two installments in the series. The film will release on "Aug 26th, 2011".






SEPTEMBER:


"Piranha 3DD" is the sequel to 2010 Piranha. The film is directed by Alexandre Aja. The script was written by Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger, writers of the 2009 horror remake Sorority Row. It is planning to release on "Sep 16th, 2011".








OCTOBER:


"Paranormal Activity 3" is a horror film directed by Oren Peli and written by Michael R. Perry. The film is a parallel to the 2007 and 2010 film Parainormal Activity. It is scheduled to release on "Oct 21th, 2011".










NOVEMBER:


"Puss in Boots" is the film based on and follows the character of Puss in Boots from Shrek and his adventures before his first appearance in 2004's Shrek 2. The film is produced by DreamWorks Animation, directed by Chris Miller. The prequel's story centers on the swashbuckling cat and how he comes to meet Shrek and his friends, while introducing new characters as well. It is set to be released in "November 4, 2011".






"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (Part One)" is a two-part romantic-fantasy film directed by Bill Condon and based on the novel Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer. Starring Kristen Stewart, Robbert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner. Part 1 will be released on "November 18, 2011",and Part 2 on "November 16, 2012". Both parts will be released by Summit Entertainment.




"Happy Feet 2" is the animated film sequel to 2006 Happy feet. directed by George Miller.Once again set in Antarctica, this sequel finds dancing penguin Mumble (voiced by Elijah Wood), his mate Gloria (Pink), and their pals Ramon and Lovelace (Robin Williams), battling the threat of a Giant petrel and his henchmen. Voice talents include Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Hank Azaria, and Elizabeth Daily. And schedule  to release on "Nov 18th, 2011".


"The Muppets" is an comedy film directed by James Bobin and starring Jason Segel.  In additional to the lovable Muppet characters, human cast members include Amy Adams, Chris Cooper, and Rashida Jones. And look for cameos from Jack Black, Lady Gaga, Mila Kunis, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Alan Arkin. The film will release on "Nov 23rd, 2011".





"Rise of the Apes" will be a new film in the Planet of the Apes series.James Franco stars as a modern-day scientist searching for a cure to Alzheimer’s. When one of his test apes, Caesar, begins to mutate, he takes him home. Fans of the rest of the series may be able to guess at what comes next. Also starring Freida Pinto, John Lithgow, Andy Serkis, and Brian Cox. Directed by Rupert Wyatt. the film to be release on "Nov 23rd, 2011".



DECEMBER:

"Alvin and the Chipmunks" on the animated series of the Alvin and the Chipmunks. It is an family entertainer already came before in 2007,2009 and now it is back with starring Alvin, Simon, and Theodore on "Dec 16th, 2011".

"Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol"  is the fourth film in the Mission: Impossible film series. The film is directed by Brad Bird. t stars Tom Cruise, who reprises his role of IMF agent Ethan Hunt and he’ll get plenty of help from the likes of Ving Rhames, Jeremy Renner, Josh Holloway, Simon Pegg, and Paula Patton. The bad guys include Michael Nyqvist, Lea Seydoux, and Anil Kapoor.reprises his role of IMF agent Ethan Hunt. The film will be release on "Dec 16th,  2011".

"A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas 3D" is a stoner comedy film series starring John Cho and Kal Penn. The first film was released on July 30, 2004. The film was shot in 2010 with an expected release date in the "Dec 23, 2011" holiday season.
